The substantial influence exerted upon Latin Literature by Greek Rhetoric is primarily evident in the works of Vergil and especially his E c 1 ο g e s. The author himself acknowledges certain rhetoric schemes, phrases and structure in the parts of his work, especially those refering to the life of shepherds within the entire culture of peasants and farmers. In fact general outlook of Virgil's poems reflect positive interchanges between Latin and Greek Literature creative works.
