Recent discoveries in Numeyra east of the Dead Sea (Jordan Valley, southern Levant)

Abstract:
The present article considers Numeyra village site on the eastern coast of the Dead Sea in Jordan Valley towards the Southern Levant. The main objectives of this article is to assess the results of conducted field work in the area between 1995-2011 which includes survey, excavations, inspections in addition to understand the chronological sequences on the eastern shore of the Dead Sea especially during the Bronze Age and comparing the results with recent theories regarding the settlement of Early Bronze Age in Jordan Valley and the surrounding area.
