Abstract:
The ‘Hagioi Anargyroi’ building complex, comprising of three churches dedicated to Sts Anargyroi, Marina and Andrew, on the Boyatzoglou estate at Kato Sangri on Naxos, is one of the island’s least known Byzantine monuments. This paper examines the complex building history and the architecture of the three churches and their contribution to the study of Byzantine architecture in the Aegean islands.
