Abstract:
This article is dealing with the originality of the poetics of the Psalter. This may be defined through quality signs of artistic thinking of the authors of the Psalter. Some problems of the translation adequacy are examined in the article; also poetic principles of the Psalms are confronted with the principles of the poetry in the antiquity.
