Since 1999 Ι have been teaching a ten-week course entitled "Ιntroduction to the Communicative Αpproach-Theory and Practice" in the context of the Ιnterdepartmental Program for the teaching of Modern Greek as a foreign language. Ιn this paper Ι will present and discuss the approach adopted for this course, namely, the critical reflective paradigm, the content of the course and the type of assessment opted for the students.
