This paper analyzes the supply of an important form of non urban tourism, the socalledagro tourism, together with providing a detailed literature review of thevarious stages of a tourist product life cycle. A theoretical econometric model ofthese life cycle phases is then presented. Finally, suggestions are proposed aboutthe contribution of private and public sectors, and the strategies politicalinstitutions should follow in order to sustain and promote agro tourism.
