Abstract:
The rapid development of information and communication technology but especially the impact of internet gave a new educational medium, which is recognized by the educational community as a powerful tool to support distance learning through the creation and transmission of educational material.The aim of this work is to construct a teaching tool, which could help to familiarize students with the various weather phenomena and the knowledge of their causes of creation in order to demystify and correct the erroneous perception that they are created by mythical persons or religious results.The most important advantages resulting from the use of application are the free choice of place, time and rhythm study, the guidance via detailed explanations, the clarification of basic concepts with various simulations, the understanding of weather phenomena and the improvement of analytical - synthetic thinking.
