Abstract:
In this paper the experiences of 17 women are presented. These women followed courses in Schools for Adults for the first time in their life, in Macedonia, Greece.This research is founded, from a theoretical point of view, on the framework of founded theory. The research material was compiled with the method of personal interviews. In the paper we describe the changes to the personal, professional and social life of these women, due to the attending of School. Our target is not a generalization of our findings, but rather to make clear the dialectic relation between persons and the Society and to examine the ways persons incorporate within onself the changes in their life.
