In this study initially there is a reference to influence of the family to the formation of children's personality. Special emplasis is placed on the influence that family enviroment has on the choises of young people with disabillities and particularly on their vocational decisions. The role of the family, the parents' behavior towards their children with disabilities, the parents attitude about the young people's vocational questions, the deficit of parents' information about the vocational orientation of their children, as well as the need for the parents' councelling are the important points of this study.
