In September 1988 the underwater investigation of the wreck of the 17th c. French ship «La Thérèse» was continued.This year the following work was carried out:a) resumption of the excavation and mapping of the site of the wreck; the mapping continued on scales of 1:100 and 1:10 of the sections of the wreck and especially of the stern;b) raising of objects: a bronze cannon, most of which had been buried in the sand, preserved its striking relief decoration in pristine condition.
