Abstract:
The activities of the Allied Military Mission in Northwest Macedoniain 1943-44 and especially those of the unit based on Mt Vitsi which was commandedby Captain (later Major) P. H. Evans are reported from a series ofwireless signals and situation reports. The author who was in command ofthe Mission in Macedonia for most of the period has added comments andexplanation. The article provides firsthand, primary evidence for the happeningsof those two troubled years.
