The difficulties faced by Primary Education teachers during theirintroductory training and their attitudes towards distance trainingconstituted the object of this research. It was conducted at theRegional Training Centres (RTC) of Tripoli and loannina duringschool year 2004-2005. The results showed that the teachers arepositive towards distance training on account of serious obstaclesthey face during their introductory training that they neverthelessfavor. Training institutions and scientific unions of aduli educationand distance learning could play an important role in the planningand implementation of distance training programs both fortrainers and trainees.
